Is Connect to Work free?
Yes. Connect to Work is completely free for participants. It is funded by the UK Government through the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
Do I have to be receiving benefits to take part?
No. You do not need to be claiming benefits to access Connect to Work support. You can be in work but struggling, out of work, or not claiming anything.
What if I’m not ready to work yet?
That’s OK. Connect to Work works at your pace. Your Employment Specialist will work with you on your terms and won’t push you towards anything you’re not ready for.
I live outside Norwich – can I still get support?
Yes. Connect to Work is available across all of Norfolk, with delivery partners covering different districts. Check our delivery partners page to see who covers your area.
What does it cost to work with Connect to Work?
Nothing. Our support for employers is entirely free. Connect to Work is funded by the UK Government.
Am I legally obliged to make reasonable adjustments?
Under the Equality Act 2010, employers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments for disabled employees and job applicants. Our Employment Specialists can advise on what this means in practice for your business. Most adjustments are low-cost or free.
What is Disability Confident?
